The Project Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of project work plans and the revision
as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of customers. The PM is the primary interface
with the client and ensures that the project is delivered on time, within the budget and inline with GE
product quality commitments.

--- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
--- Manage the project implementation schedule agreed with the client and Manufacturing Manager to
ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
--- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
--- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
--- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
--- Manages project budget.
--- Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables
for project.
--- Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
--- Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
--- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
--- Holds regular status meetings with project team.
--- Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities.
--- Oversees interaction with key suppliers and the ordering of materials for the project.
--- Ensures a clear understanding of the requirements of the Project Contract.
--- Inspires co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
--- Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
--- Manages day-to-day client interaction.
Technical College / University degree preferably in electrical engineering
5 Years Project Management Experience
5 years experience in Electrical Engineering arena
NEC and FIDIC Experience advantageous
Candidate should have experience of working in the Utility and / or Mining segment
and be SACPMP registered.
Quick and accurate computer skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong and assertive personality
Drivers License: Code 08
