Contracts / Claims Specialist (f/m) on FIDIC Contracts
For a tender of a World Bank funded project in the water sector in Mozambique, we are looking for an experienced Contracts / Claims Specialist.
This project concerns the following objectives:
- Improvement of conditions of water supply in the metropolitan area of Maputo
- Construction of water treatment plants (WTP) and transmission facilities, pumping stations, control tank (CTA), centralized technical management system (SCADA) and other ancillary structures
- Increase access to clean water to the residents in the Greater Maputo Area
Main tasks of the Contracts / Claims Specialist:
- Carry out the duties of a Contracts / Claims Specialist – carry out and provide all necessary activities / services as needed to facilitate project progress
Educational background:
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with focus on Civil Engineering or Contracts Management
Essential experience and skills:
- Min. 15 years sound site experience in dealing with contractual issues on FIDIC contracts
Tentative time schedule:
Start of project: end of May 2014
Assignment time: 5 months
