After having successfully installed 2,500 live systems in Tanzania and Kenya and proven the feasibility of the concept, Mobisol is now moving into the business at a larger scale and is looking for senior operational and managerial skills to successfully accompany this growth.
Tasks and expected Output
• Provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls and escalation procedures as well as people and systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure operating efficiency
• Oversee and take responsibility for all day to day business, commercial and technical operations in Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and coordinate activities in the headquarters in Berlin
• Develop, establish, and direct execution of operating policies in East Africa and headquarters in Berlin to support overall sales and budget objectives
• Synchronize supply chain with market demand in East African markets
• Streamline and improve all relevant processes in East Africa that have an impact on the delivery of SHS
• Decide on commercial, technical and administrative aspects of the business in the field together with the local Managing Directors in East Africa
• Develop and implement a risk management system to minimize operational disruption
• Develop and implement an reporting format describing the overall operational activities with respect to sales and budget targets
• Ensure all department heads and managing directors are fully informed of operational and performance objectives

Requirements
Expertise
• Min 5-10 years proven track record in managing complex technical and commercial operations in developing countries in the context of strong growth
• Engineer and/or business degree required
• Ability to lead, plan and manage change
• Passion, or the willingness to become immersed in work
• Initiative and ability as well as willingness to operate in dynamic environments
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to set priorities
• Good communication skills
• Managing of diverse teams and intercultural experience
• Working experience in East Africa/Developing countries a plus
Expertise
