Carry out maintenance on domestic water supply and sewerline, Carry out new water pipe installations to buildings, carry out maintenance of water service appliances, Fault finding and rectifying, Make sure that safety standards are maintained, perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Must be a holder of MSCE, Must have successfully completed a recognised indentured apprenticeship in plumbing, Must have recognised Level 3 TEVET Qualification or Grade 1 Trade Test Certificate in the plumbing trade, Must have an advanced Craft Certificate, At least 5 yrs experience
Assistant Internal Auditor – Malawi Institute of Education – Domasi, Zomba
Shall assist the internal Auditor to Plan and conduct audits to assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with depts. Institute policies, procedures and regulations, Prepare reports for the audit Committee of the Board of Governors, Prepare accurate audit reports, Maintain proper records of audit plans and reports, Submit audit recommendations to Management for appropriate action, Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions, monitor and evaluate risk management activities, Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Must have Bachelors Degree or Diploma in internal Auditing Accounting Commerce or Finance, Must have not less than 3 yrs of relevant experience, Must be able to work with minimum supervision, Must be mature, creative and self starter, Must have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and database
Librarian – Malawi Institute of Education – Domasi, Zomba
Serve s custodian of all library books, periodicals and non-book materials, Advise management on matters related to information and library services, Formulate aims and objectives of the Institute’s Library in accordance to laid down board policies,, initiate and coordinate the acquisition of books, periodicals and non-book material information requirements for the Institute, classify and catalogue all publications that the library acquires, Conduct research and evaluate library services, Draw up staff development plans in service training and carry out annual staff appraisals, Represent the institute at meetings of library services in the country and abroad, Provide consultancy services on information and library services, Liaise with heads of department regarding books, periods and non book materials requirements, Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Information Sciences, must have not less than 4 yrs of relevant experience, Must be able to work with minimum supervision, must be mature, creative and self starter, Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
