Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is looking for the above mentioned position to join their team. The candidate should have experience in this industry in either a Production/Operational role, or as Procurement Officer. Experience in manufacturing anything, ranging from Beer and Candy’s to Explosives for Mines.
Essential qualifications for this role:
• Must have Commercial Intelligence.
• This commercial acumen must be combined with Technical understanding.
• An inquisitiveness in how things work and an ability to learn (= IQ). No academic degree will warrant this.
• Best candidates have learned their trade “on the job”.
Years of working experience:
• Minimum 4 years
• Working and residence permit is a pre-requisite.
Key behaviour competences:
• Hands-on, technical person, supportive, team player, proactive
• Self-motivated, self-starter with commitment
• Good time-management, structured and efficient working style
• Ability to focus on details, but also having in mind a larger perspective
• Ability to build relations, establish new contacts and networking
