The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NEPAD Agency) wishes to announce vacancies for various positions at its office in Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and its Regional Missions at various duty stations.
Vacancies:
Job Title: Senior Programme Officer, Legal/Policy Issues in Biosafety.
Position Level: P3
Duty Station: African Biosafety Network Expertise (ABNE), Kampala, Uganda
Supervisor: Director, African Biosafety Network Expertise (ABNE)
The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Senior Programme Officer, Legal/Policy Issues in Biosafety. 
Under the supervision of the Director, African Biosafety Network Expertise (ABNE) or his/her delegate, the Senior Programme Officer Legal/Policy - Biosafety is part of the African Biosafety Network Expertise (ABNE) Regional Project Centre that provides science based information and technical support to biotechnology regulatory agencies on the continent.

Job Title: Principal Programme Officer – Policy and  Investment Financing
Position Level: P4

Supervisor: Head of Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP)
The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA) has been established by the Decision of the 14th AU Assembly of February 2010 as the technical body of the African Union, in replacement of the NEPAD Secretariat.
Under the supervision of the Head of Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA) or his/her delegate, the Principal Programme Officer – Policy and Investment Financing will organise and coordinate technical backstopping support on development/formulation and evaluation of national and regional investment plans/programmes within the CAADP country and regional implementation processes in relation to public and private development investment financing.
