The Academic Subject Group of Creative Technologies are seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Computing. The University is particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in computing to join an enthusiastic and proactive team.
The key duties of the role-holder will be to contribute to the delivery, development, research and administrative support of computing associated programmes across the Academic Group/School, which will include the academic and personal support of students.
A first degree in a related subject is essential, as is a PhD as well as a teaching qualification and membership of the Higher Education Academy (or willingness to achieve an accredited HEA qualification).
The successful candidate should demonstrate knowledge and understanding of recent developments in teaching, learning and assessment of Computing and Programming Credible experience of working in an appropriate context and the ability to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or creative practice.
