Mid term evaluation of the gender equality and women empowerment programme
A thorough knowledge of the relevant Government of Malawi policies and an understanding of the gender sector in Malawi will be an advantage.
Excellent written and spoken English, as well as good personal and communication skills is required. Knowledge of Chichewa will be an advantage.
Category II Expert
The Category II expert must have an appropriate higher level degree (Masters Level) in a relevant field of study, preferably social sciences, development or related field and not less than 6 years of solid work experience and expertise in development programmes in the field of Gender and HIV/AIDS or social development. If no Masters level then he/she has to have at least 9 years of professional experience in the above mentioned fields.
He/she should have experience in implementation and design of projects in the field of gender, HIV/AIDS or social development.A thorough knowledge of the relevant Government of Malawi policies and an understanding of the gender sector in Malawi will be an advantage.
