We have an exciting opportunity for talented, dynamic and committed teachers of English as a Foreign Language to join our Languages: English/International curriculum area which sits within our Sixth Form College department. The post-holders will be required to teach English to International students. It is expected that candidates will have significant experience of designing and delivering EFL/ESOL and have a familiarity with IELTS teaching and assessment.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies. A relevant degree is essential, along with an appropriate CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL certificate or equivalent ELT and teaching qualification. The successful applicants will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.
The Sixth Form Department is a priority area for the College and we are looking for candidates who will work effectively in a large team and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery. The successful applicant should demonstrate excellent practice regarding teaching and learning.
