Position Summary
Purpose of the job:

To assist with marketing and sales management of Fertiliser products and provide related agricultural technical services and knowledge to customers.

-Minimum of 5 years Sales, Marketing and Agronomy experience (proven track record)
-Business acumen
-Knowledge of local and related fertiliser markets
-Be prepared to travel
-Computer literate (MS Office)
-Comply to all safety and work standards

Job Outputs

-Manage delivery of agronomic / technical services to key customers
-Preparation and analysis of agricultural opportunities
-Assist with fertiliser sales
-Manage to attain own regional sales volumes/ targets
-Compile sales plans per area and per customer
-Manage effective and sound customer relationships
-Deliver appropriate sales administration procedures (eg debt collection)
-Produce monthly sales reports and quarterly market intelligence reports
-Responsible for overall safety at the workplace of subordinates


Job Requirements: Qualifications and expertise

-Relevant B-degree (Preferably in Agricultural and/or Marketing)
-Where a required qualification is absent, the company may take experience in the respective industry into account.
-Knowledge of the Mozambique Agricultural Industry (and SADC regions)
-Fluency in English and Portuguese (read, write, speak)
