SNV is seeking qualified, senior professionals in Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) for ourWASH Sector LeaderandSenior WASH Advisorglobal positions
Access to safe, clean drinking water and sanitation is a basic human right. Yet, more than one third of the world’s population does not have access to proper sanitation, and many people do not have access to reliable sources of drinking water. SNV works with local partners to ensure that the people who need it most have access to safe drinking water and sanitation services. We build demand for improved water and sanitation at the local level, creating vital change from the ground up. SNV intervenes in the rural, small town and peri-urban WASH subsectors with a focus on sustainability of existing water infrastructure and behavior change. Our work in the WASH sector aims to improve the performance of all parties involved, including national and local governments, the private sector, and civil society.
SNV contributes to improved WASH service delivery, specifically:
  1. Access to safe, sufficient and reliable drinking water supply
  2. Access to improved sanitation
  3. Sustained positive change in hygiene behavior
SNV is continually seeking applicants for senior WASH positions based in our country programs. Successful applicants to this general vacancy announcement will be pre-assessed for advance consideration when international positions become available. If you are an experienced WASH professional with a background in rural or peri-urban water, sanitation and hygiene and an interest in helping us meet our mission, SNV wants to hear from you.
