Operations Marketing Representative - Chimoio & Nampula

JOB SUMMARY: 
Provide franchise and commercial support to the Country team and bottling partners and co-ordination across a geographic location to achieve volume and share objectives through supporting the execution of the Bottler Business Plan (BBP).

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategy and Business Planning:
    • Provide input for and support the implementation of the Bottler Business Plan
    • Provide analysis and presentation support to the OMM or SOMM
    • Track and Monitor business performance through the review and analysis of the weekly sales numbers
  • Market Execution and Commercial Excellence:
    • Support the bottler commercial and execution capabilities leveraging RED
    • Build understanding of Route to Market and support projects designed to improve our market development and execution
    • Support the deployment of consumer and experiential programmes across the country
    • Monitor Bottler, wholesaler and trade pricing and make recommendations where necessary
    • Use System tools to monitor and improve in outlet performance
  • Manage Capacity to Produce and Distribute
    • Monitor stocks of fills / empties at plant and ensure any issues are escalated quickly
    • Leverage the support of the technical team to proactively manage capacity and quality – servicing of lines, investment, quality metrics and so on
  • Franchise Leadership
    • Build value based and strategic “win-win” relationships with System partners at Bottler Sale Supervisor and Area Sales Manager levels
    • Support Bottler training and development modules and capability building initiatives targeted at commercial teams – especially RED, RTM and Collaborating for Value
  • Sustainability
    • Support the Workplace Rights and Human Rights agenda with bottling partner(s) by assisting in the organisation of pre and actual audits
    • Assist fully in the execution of community programs designed to enhance KO reputation within the community

      • Fluent in English

      Required Experience
      2-3 years experience within a FMCG Company. Functional experience within an operational function would be an advantage. Bottler experience an added advantage.

      EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: First level Business degree qualification minimum

      • Ability to balance interaction at multiple levels from Bottler Middle and Senior Management to retailers requires cultural sensitivity.
      • Cultural diversity specifics will depend on assigned geography characteristics

      ANALYSIS:

      • Faced with routine problems encompassing execution aspects of the business and with different levels of complexity and urgency
      • Requiring ability to identify and summarize key issues and gain alignment with the Bottler during the execution phase of agreed programs
      • Monitoring and measurement as per the reporting requirements

      JUDGEMENT AND DECISION MAKING: The Operational Marketing Representative is responsible for the execution of the BBP for assigned Franchise territories or initiatives
