Arising from the success of Professor Ciaran O’Neill under the Health Research Board Research Leader Award scheme, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a two year fixed-term contract for a Research Assistant position to work with Professor Ciaran O’ Neill at NUI Galway. The work will entail the development and analysis of a preference valuation set for the EQ-5D-5L health states among the Irish general public. The study will be undertaken in collaboration with and the support of the EUROQoL group
Job Description:
The work will involve the collection using CAPI techniques of preferences for health states among the Irish general public. A background in health economics would be an advantage. The candidate must have first class analytical, statistical and quantitative skills with experience in the analysis of large healthcare datasets.
Salary: €26,873 per annum (public sector pay policy rules pertaining to new entrants will apply)
