This is an opportunity to join the communications team of the principal inter-governmental organisation for the Commonwealth, the association of 53 independent and sovereign states.
Responsible for all our online activities, you will lead on strategic planning, development and management of the Commonwealth Secretariat website. This will include overseeing content dissemination, developing operation guidelines and managing the web team, projects and budgets associated with the web and social media, as well as contractors and agencies.
Your responsibilities will also include managing website processes, evolution, technical standards, search engine optimisation (SEO) and overseeing the implementation of our email marketing system. You will be closely involved with specialist applications; oversee the re-development of the intranet and micro-sites; run the library of over 20,000 images and multi-media files; implement our social media policy; advise and draft policies on making the best use of our online platform; use analytics and report on the performance of platforms.
