The position reports to the Finance and Support Services Manager and will coordinate and provide technical support to the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust funded SAFE Programme in Malawi through partner capacity building, budget and financial planning, monitoring and reporting.
The ideal candidate, who should be a Malawian national, must possess a University Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or ACCA, CIMA or CA and Equivalent.
A minimum three years’ work experience, ideally in an INGO environment, experience in audit and government organisation would also be advantageous. You should have strong financial, programme and project management skills, strong grant accounting and reporting background and experience in working with partners.
You should have strong interpersonal, communication, capacity building or facilitation skills, the ability to work under minimum supervision, the ability to work with project budgets and an in-depth knowledge of computer financial packages and Global ICT communication systems.
