Qualification and skills
Degree in civil engineering or equivalent;
The candidate shall be fluent in the English language, strong ability to write and edit documents in English is a prerequisite;
Knowledge of Portuguese is an added advantage.
Professional experience
At least 12 years of general professional experience with rural road construction projects, with a minimum of 6 years in developing countries;
Must possess proven skills in communication and project management related to feasibility studies involving teams with members of different expertise;
The expert should have extensive specific experience related to the assignment, in particular with rural development strategies, labour based construction methods and rural road maintenance.
