Warranty Manager
The role
The Warranty Manager is responsible for managing the Warranty Process and the Warranty Handlers for Underground Hard Rock Mining, Surface Mining, Construction, Soft Rock and Exploration. In addition the warranty manager will be directly responsible for handling warranty claims for Underground Hard Rock Mining.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the warranty handlers understand and follow the warranty process effectively.
- On time processing of warranty claims.
- Effectively manage warranty WIP and drive down handling time.
- Ensure reliable backup systems are in place for all communications.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of all warranty claims and their status.
- Effective filing and storage of hard copies of warranty claims.
- Maintain OEM standards for all warranty repairs.
- Effective customer interactions and updates
- Routine reporting as required by key stakeholders.
- Ensure all stakeholders receive and understand the latest warranty process
- Manage and set up of the warranty budget
- Ensure that all warranty registrations are captured in ST Units Database and forward to Proco's
- Ensure that warranty credits are received from Proco and processed on our system
Your profile
- Must have at least 10 years working experience, at least 3 years should be working with Sandvik
- Equipment, and at least 5 years should be hands on technical work that includes fault finding.
- An appropriate N6 diploma
- Training in Root Cause Failure Analysis.
- Driver's License
- Medically fit to go underground
Other Information:
- The position will require travelling and some after-hours support, mainly remotely
