Assistant Manager – Finance - Head Office, Blantyre
Will be responsible for day to day operations of the dept and making sure that the department runs smoothly in compliance with internal controls, will report to the Finance Manager
Preparation, monitoring, review and control of the departmental budget, Execution of internal controls, Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management and financial reports, Reporting on budget performance, Ensure compliance of regulatory and legislative issues, Driving departmental staff performance whilst enforcing discipline
Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, Self-starter who works with minimum supervision, Ability to meet deadlines and targets, Ability to prioritise tasks at hand, excellent analytical skills, Team player
University Degree preferably in Accounting plus CIMA Advanced Diploma or ACCA Level 3, Those studying the Final papers of CIMA or ACCA Optional papers will have an added advantage, At least 3 yrs experience in similar field, Sound background in managing people
