Position is available for period of 1 yr 6 months and renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
 
Reporting to the Project manager, the District Coordinator will be responsible fin providing leadership in district level planning, coordination as well as implementation of the CVSU project, The incumbent will work closely with the District Social Welfare Office and  Child Protection Workers to implement activities of the CVSU project which include working with the actual CVSU committees, ADCs, Police units , Health centers, and other key stakeholders at both T/A and district level, In addition the District Coordinator will also be responsible for creating opportunities for effective partnership, collaboration and joint planning of project activities and also participate in the designing of a holistic approach to support the Strengthening CVSUs project interventions within the district as well as support documentation and dissemination of the project’s lesson learned, case studies and best practices
 
Applicants should have a Minimum of a Bachelors degree in development related subjects or any relevant studies, Diploma qualification backed up with strong work experience and reputable performance will also be considered, At least 3 yrs related experience in child protection o other development related fields with strong program planning, coordination and supervisory skills will be desirable
