Position is available for period of 2 yrs and renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
 
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Inclusive Education Specialist will be responsible for technical leadership of the inclusive Education project interventions across the consortium focusing on improving educational access and learning outcomes for deprived and excluded children especially children with disabilities, children from ultra-poor families and children deprived from a gender perspective (girls), she/he will be also lead in capacity development of consortium staff, Govt counterparts and other partners to ensure effective implementation of all aspects of the Inclusive Education project. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring all Inclusive Education interventions are of the highest standard and that relevant stakeholders capacity is strengthened in order to sustainably deliver inclusive education to Malawian children, in addition s/he will contribute to the development of project annual plans and budgets, and collaborate with project team to implement , monitor and report progress, ensure that bets practices in inclusive education are documented and disseminated to on form policy and practice at community, district and national levels, She/he will ensure effective partnership, collaboration and joint planning of project activities across all the implementing partners, govt and other relevant stakeholders
 
Applicant should have Bachelor of Degree in Education, Psychology, social work or other social sciences with additional training on inclusive education or special needs education, a possession of a Masters Degree in the relevant area will be added advantage. The applicant should also have a minimum of 8 yrs of technical experience in the field of Inclusive Education and/or Protection of vulnerable groups either in Govt or with international organisation.
