Exagris Africa Limited (EAA) was incorporated in Malawi in April 2008, building on an established farming business. Following acquisition of another agricultural business sin April 2010, the company now farms approximately 6,000 ha of estate across Malawi, on which approximately 3,000 ha are arable. The company’s farming enterprises are complemented by an outgrower programme dealing with paprika and bird’s eye chillies from across all 3 regions of Malawi. Furthermore, the company runs development programs to support communities surrounding its farms

Leadership and management of workshop team ensuring high standards of work, Ensuring compliance of health and safety measures and standards, Implementation of job repair scheduling and management system, Developing and implementing regular maintenance schedules for tractors, farm machinery, vehicles, motorcycles in line with manufacture recommendation, Participate in development of budgets for workshop, Training/skills development of subordinates in liaison with HR dept, Management of workshop critical stock levels and production of reports using engineering codes provided
A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution, At least 2 yrs experience in a similar position in a commercial workshop, Practical hands-on experience on mechanical repair work, fabrication and machinery maintenance, Knowledge of plumbing, electrification, building and experience of irrigation systems will be added advantage, A commitment to working within deadlines
