IT Officers – IT Department
Setting up new user’s accounts and profiles an dealing with password issues, Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs, working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to 3rdparties, if appropriate, Prioritised and managing many open cases at one time, Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals e.g. software developers, testing and evaluating new technology, Conducting electoral safety checks on computer equipment, Any knowledge of Accpac and or Retail management System will be an added advantage, Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time, Supporting the rollout of new applications, Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a faults or set up a system, Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports, Trouble shooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults, Talking to staff and clients through a series of actions, either face to face, over the telephone or remote connections to help set up systems or solve issues, Database administration, monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information and Communication technology from a reputable college/institution, must have good analytical skills, must have initiative as this is a challenging job, Must be able to work independently, result oriented, self starter and teamplayer
Successful candidates will be reporting to the IT Manager
