Principal Hospital Administrators – Grade G – Embangweni, Ekwendeni and DGMH (David Gordon Memorial Hospital (DGMH)
Reporting to: The Medical Officer in Charge
 
Provide strategic direction to the hospital, defining goals and setting targets in liaison with Departmental heads, Supervise the accountant and scrutinize financial reports, Ensure adequate interpretation and implementation of hospital human resource policies and procedures, Coordinate the development and advancement of hospital manpower and chair some hospital committees, Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of the hospital buildings, control equipment and medical supplies, Supervise the provision of office support services and ensure the availability of resources and facilities, Represent the hospital management on all hospital administrative matters
 
A minimum of Degree in any Administrative Studies preferably from a recognized institution of higher learning, Ability to interpret human resource policies and financial reports, Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, Those with experience in the health sector will have added advantage, Applicants should be conversant with the Malawi Labour Laws and with up to date conflict resolution skills, Have strong analytical and time management skills, be conscientious and result oriented, Applicants must be of mature character, responsible committed and practicing Christian
 
Senior Administrative Officer – Grade H - CCAP Synod of Livingstonia – Ekwendeni Mission Hospital
 
Reporting to Principal Hospital Administrator
 
Management of Health Information Management System (HMIS), Supervising all administrative functions of the hospital, Coordinating and supervising administrative functions of all health centres under the hospital, Supervision of the management of the general stores, Supervision of management of inventories and fixed assets registers for the hospital and health centres,  Allocation, service and general management of the hospital’s and health centres’ fleet of vehicles, buildings, motorcycles and general equipment, Preparation of fuel reports, maintenance reports and fault reports and other reports weekly and monthly basis, Development of maintenance budget, Clearing and customs functions for all hospital and health centers property
 
Applicants must be holders of Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or Human Resource Management obtained from a recognized training institution, A minimum of 4 yrs work experience in a busy and reputable institution is desirable, Those with experience in the health sector will have an added advantage, Applicants must be of mature character, responsible, committed and practicing Christian
