Quality Assurance Manager – Kanengo – Valid Nutrition

Will take full responsibility for managing all quality and food safety standards be ensuring that the procedures in place across the business are appropriate and implemented by staff to meet the high standards demanded by customers, Additionally the scope will include management of the on-site laboratory so that accurate, reliable and timely test results are consistently produced

An individual qualified to degree level with proven and appropriate experience in a quality assurance role within a food manufacturing company, along with hands-on understanding of laboratory testing practices, a working knowledge of ISO 9001 or 22000 quality standards, well rounded management experience and  a strong sense of initiative, Knowledge of food safety and hygiene management is essential, Attention to detail, excellent communication and leadership skills as well as competent computer skills are also essential
