Reporting to the Investigator

Conducting primary clinical management of study participants which includes clinical assessments, consultations to seniors and referrals where necessary, Adhering to all protocol-specific requirements including all associated study documents, Coordinating with relevant study team members i.e. investigators, study coordinators and all other depts. within the study network in day to day decision making, Identifying and online reporting/submission of Serious Adverse Events as required per protocol, developing an ongoing good working relationships with peers within Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital for collaborations on day to day clinical management of patients, Participating in regular study-specific meetings and study –specific conference calls, Contributing to development of study materials including Standard Operating Procedures, Conducting and participating in study –specific trainings, Ensuring quality management of all study and clinic day to day operations, Actively contributing to recruitment and retention of study participants, Carrying out leadership roles in enhancing and improving clinic operations

MBBS Degree or its equivalent, 2 yrs experience post internship, Registered with Medical Council of Malawi

Knowledge/appreciation of HIV epidemiology in Malawi preferred, research background preferred, Receptive to constructive feedback from peers and external research monitors, respectively and professional interpersonal skills with colleagues and participants, Willing to work at times as demanded by the protocols, Team player, Attention to details
