Reporting directly to the Transport manager, the Heavy Duty Driver, The purpose of this role is to provide safe and reliable transportation to all Company personnel
Provide driving services with full adherence to the safety of passengers and the general public at all times, Provide driving services with full recognition of security issues, Avoid all situations that might place the vehicle or passengers at risk, Properly inspect/check the vehicle and complete all proper documentation before vehicle is sued, Ensure that all defects or maintenance is reported to LV workshop immediately, Replace flat tyres when and where they occur, Keep all the Goods and property in the vehicle safe, Maintain a log of all trips, events and fuel consumption, Ensure vehicles are clean (interior and exterior) at all times, Be punctual at all times, Plan all trips appropriately and ensure all necessary equipment is on board for each trip
MSCE, Valid Malawian Driving Licence – P&D Category, Defensive Driving Training Certificate, 3 to 5yrs in heavy goods driving
