Village Administrator – Ngabu Programme – SOS Children’s Villages Malawi
Reports to the Village Director
Ensuring that financial resources are used appropriately and efficiently, Ensuring that financial and administrative policies and procedures are developed and adhered to, Performing all administrative tasks for the village, Providing support to SOS mother sin administrative matters, Supervise and control the disbursement of the monthly Household Allowance, Clothing Allowance and any other allocation of funds to each family house, Ensure that household books of the Mothers are updated and checked on a monthly basis, Ensure that all cash and financial records are safely locked, Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, maintaining the Cash Book for the programme, Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, Manage ad control the village petty cash, Manage the village inventory, Supervise and coordinate the movements of the Village vehicle fleet, Ensure that the vehicle log books are properly maintained, Manage the activities of the Village gardening, maintenance, cleaning and other general service staff, ensuring that the Village buildings and grounds are properly cleaned and maintained
A Diploma in Administration, Accounting or Business Studies, 5 yrs accounting and administration work experience, Experience in planning and budgeting, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Well developed report writing skills, Supervisory experience, Computer literacy
