Fraud Investigations Officer, Grade D1

Section: Internal Affairs, Accountable to: Fraud Investigations Manager

Responsible for generating corruption and fraud intelligence and implementing investigations programs

Collect intelligence information on suspected corrupt practices and fraud, Receive and document allegations of corruption and fraud by employees, Investigate cases of corruption and fraud to bring the offenders to the disciplinary committee and for persecution where appropriate, Investigate wealth acquired by employees which is not commensurate with employment earnings and declared business interests, Prepare cases for prosecution in liaison with law enforcing agencies to deter corrupt and fraud practices, Attend court sessions to present evidence when required, Prepare monthly  reports on work progress for monitoring in order to accomplish annual workplans, Any other duties as the Fraud Investigations manager shall assign

Be a holder of a Bachelors Degree from a recognisable institution of higher learning with at least 3 yrs experience in any investigations or related function, Excellent knowledge  of computer applications is a prerequisite, Demonstrate high integrity level is a must, Demonstrate good analytical and writing skills

Be a highly motivated, dynamic, mature and self starter, Have a sense of confidentiality and wound work ethics such s honesty and trustworthiness, Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Be computer literate
