Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant
Report to Programming, monitoring and Evaluation Manager, (FIDP PCU), Duration: To December 2016, renewable contract
To provide support to the programming, monitoring and evaluation office and the programme
Providing logistical and technical support in programme monitoring and evaluation to determine compliance with all Programme Estimate commitments and EU guidelines for the determination of progress monitoring of the programme, Carrying out quality checks of collect data and enter data assisting in maintaining a database for all programmes and projects of FIDP in Malawi, Assist in the design and development of standard M&E training materials, Providing assistance in the training and capacity building in M&E among govt staff and project beneficiaries in the target districts, Providing assistance to the M&E manager in preparation of progress reports of the programme
Any other duties as assigned by the Programming, Monitoring an devaluation Manager
Diploma in Agricultural Economics or Statistics, Basic training in project management
Candidates must have knowledge in computers with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc), Data analysis software experience (e.g. SPSS, STATA
At least 7 yrs experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis and working with rural communities
