Project background
The project is expected to contribute to increasing trade, greater competitiveness and food security in East Africa. It will improve the enabling environment for trade and enhance export capacity through improved trade facilitation; market access, development and linkages; and value chain development.

Qualifications
- Degree in economics, trade, agri-business, finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- International work experience and relevant work experience in Africa, preferably at the regional level in East Africa
- Strong knowledge of USAID or similar donor-funded projects
- Demonstrated expertise in some of the areas outlined above
- Fluency in written and spoken English required, French desired
