LECTURER IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (2 Year contract: 2 Posts) (Re-Advertisement)
VACANCY NO: FET/ME 2/2013
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach Dynamics or Control Engineering at undergraduate level; OR (ii) Engineering Design and/or Computer Aided Drafting and/or Engineering Drawing; (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities including research and supervision of research projects; (iv) teach other Mechanical Engineering courses at undergraduate level; (vi), carryout any other duties that will be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields with at least a 2(i) pass/GPA of 3.6 or equivalent plus; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) PhD in a relevant area, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution, as well as relevant industrial experience and demonstration of academic leadership will be added advantages.
