LECTURER IN REAL ESTATE (1 POST)
Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer tenable in the Department of Architecture and Planning.
Duties: The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Land Economics, Valuation, and Property and Estate Management. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses besides those outlined above. In addition, the candidate is expected to undertake research and provide community and professional services to the University of Botswana and the public at large.
Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Property Investment Appraisal, Land Economics or related field plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Land Management and Valuation, Land Economics or related fields; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD or similar professional qualifications, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
