Safety and Environmental Officer - Water Treatment Plant Construction Supervision

About the Project: A new Water Treatment Plant will be constructed and equipped for Phase 1 (60,000 m3/d) flow and prepared for the extension of Phase 2 capacity of 120,000 m3/d. Other elements of the project include the supervision of the construction of a Raw Water Intake, Pumping stations, Intermediate Control Tank and Centralized Technical Management System (SCADA). The project is for approximately 24 months and is located near Sabié in Mozambique. Anticipated start date is September 2014. Candidate Profile: Applicants should have a University Engineering or Environmental Degree with Health & Safety Qualifications  Applicants must have: at least ten (10) years of site experience at least four (4) years experience in the implementation of safety systems at construction sites and EMPs. undergone complementary training in the area of health and safety in the construction environment ​The following would be an advantage:  Experience in the Region, but in particular in Mozambique Portuguese This is a full time position for 24 months
