WUSC is seeking qualified candidates for the USAD-funded PaMawa ndi Chinyamata project in Malawi. The purpose of the project is to increase the adoption of positive behaviours related to climate change adaptation and sexual reproductive health (SRH) and family planning among youth in Balaka, Machinga and Mangochi Districts. The overall project goal is to improve quality of life through social and behaviour change communication targeted at youth to promote SRH and climate change resilience. The duration of the project is 4 yrs, Recruitment is contingent upon successful award of the project and the selection of final applicants is subject to USAID approval
Chief of Party (COF)
A minimum of 7 yrs of supervisory work experience involving direct leadership and oversight of deliverables and staff, Experience managing a behaviour change communication program or project directed at youth, Demonstrated ability to achieve development outcomes for projects of a similar scale and scope, Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of development partners, particularly private sector stakeholders, Relevant experience in grant and contract management, Experience conducting monitoring, quality assurance of data, and adaptive management, Experience working with Malawi is preferred, Experience in cross-sector development program is an asset and Proficiency in one or more local languages is an asset

Lead Program Management specialist – Climate Change Adaptation
Minimum o 5 yrs of experience in analysis of climate change and its development impacts and design and implementation of adaptive response options, Minimum 5 yrs of experience in managing and overseeing implementation of project activities for international development projects, Experience in the use of vulnerability analysis and other environmental assessment methodologies, Experience in cross sectoral development projects incorporating climate change, Experience in behaviour change communications, particularly the development and dissemination of youth-oriented communication products and messages and Proficiency in Chichewa and/or another local language is an asset
Lead Program Management Specialist – Reproductive Health/Family planning
Minimum 5 yrs of expertise in the field of sexual and reproductive health right and family planning, Minimum 5 yrs of experience in managing and overseeing implementation of project activities for international development projects, Demonstrated experience in the analysis of youth access to sexual and reproductive health and family planning services, preferably in Malawi, Experience in cross sectoral development projects incorporating sexual and reproductive health and family planning services, preferably in Malawi, Experience in cross sectoral development projects incorporating sexual and reproductive health and gender equality, Experience in behaviour change communications, particularly the development and dissemination of youth-oriented communication products and messages and Proficiency in Chichewa and/or another local language is an asset
Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Specialist
Minimum 5 yrs of experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation data systems, experience overseeing a monitoring an devaluation system of comparable size and scopes to eh PA Mawa initiative, Experience conducting monitoring and evaluation for behaviour change communication projects or programs, Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection and processing methodologies with regard to ensuring data quality, Experience working within Malawi and strong understanding of the country context is an asset and Proficiency in Chichewa and/or another and local language is an asset
