Welthungerhilfe seeks to employ a duly qualified and experienced person repsonse to planned extension of activities in Malawi and therefore invites applications from Malawian nationals for the position of Cashier/Logistician – 1post – Zomba – Welthungerhilfe
9 months duration, To be filled as soon as possible
Assist with and supervise the driver with purchasing of small goods (stationary/refreshments etc) and sourcing quotations from different supplies and service providers, Preparation of cash payments to vendors and utilities, assist in the liquidation of cash advances given to project officers, Preparation and processing of vouchers according to WHH standards, Preparation of WHT and VAT documentation and imbursements, Keeping a check register and cash flow control, Daily entry of all cash payments and receipts in WINPACCS cashbook for various projects, Quality control of vouchers presented by partner organizations, Ensure proper filing system is in place, Ensure that internal controls and processes are adhered to, Arranging meetings, providing office support services
Carrying out any other duties as assigned by Head of Project/country Representative or senior Administration and Finance Office
Be proficient in Word and Excel, Good command of English (spoken and written), Valid driver’s licence for motor vehicle and valid passport
