Sales Officer- Applications and Payments Blantyre 1 – and Lilongwe 1 – Malswitch
Reporting to the Business Development and Sales Manager – Applications and Payments the position will carry out the following responsibilities
Promote and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach, Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs, Provide comprehensive customer acquisition and market outlook reports to management
Successful candidate will have a successful track record of developing new business, Should also be a self starter with a passion for sales, coupled with the following other essential attributes – Ability to work without close supervision, A strong focus on meeting sales targets and the ability to work in a highly professional team environment, Ability to generate leads and turn them into sales, Excellent communication and negotiation skills, First rate contact network development skills
In order to effectively perform in this role, the successful applicants should, be holder of a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Information Systems or other sales-biased university degree, Be no not older than 30 yrs of age, Have at least 1-3 yrs experience in selling technical products and services, Experience in sales of Software Applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Payments solutions and related products will have an added advantage, Valid SADC driver’s licence Class EB
