Finance Manager
Must possess a minimum of a Degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognised university and studying towards attainments of a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA, be computer literature and have a minimum of 5 yrs experience in a similar position in a busy business concern
Successful candidate will be reporting to the General Manager at hotel level with dotted lines to the Group Finance Manager at Corporate level, Since the finance Manager is a member of the executive committee of the hotel management structure, only candidates who are mature, honest, have high level of integrity and possess articulate management accounting and communication skills, will be considered Sound knowledge of International financial Reporting Standards and experience of accounting packages, preferably SAGE Accpac will be an added advantage
Development of medium to long term financial projection in consultation with the departmental heads, Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines, Day to day supervision of accounts staff, Monitoring of inventory costing function to ensure accuracy of stock reports, Training Finance personnel on operating procedures, Maintenance of fixed asset register and reconciliation to nominal ledger, Preparation of variance analyses and other performance reports, Preparation of monthly tax returns, Enforcing financial control of the business in accordance with Group policies, Day to day cash flow management, General Ledger account maintenance, and reconciliations
