Ungweru is a local NGO with its headquarters located in Mzuzu City. Ungweru endeavours to empower the disadvantaged communities with appropriate skills and resources in meeting community livelihood needs. Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and dynamic persons to fill the position of Executive Secretary (ES) The positions are tenable at its head office in Mzuzu
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of a Bachelors Deg rein any Development relate field and those with a Masters Degree will have an added advantage, Over 5 yrs experience in a leadership position and Project Cycle Management skills, Proven experience in fundraising for non-profit making organisations as well as excellent people management abilities, Good track record, Worked on a similar position and have exceptional achievements
Finance and Administration Officer’s essentials, desirable qualifications and experience
Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting, Those with Bachelors in Accountancy or Business Administration will have added advantage, A minimum of 5 yrs experience in managing projects or grant funds, Hands on experience in producing timely and up to date financial reports highly desirable, High level of integrity, honesty and lead by example, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
