Stores Officer - St John of God Hospitaller Services
St John of God Hospitaller Services provides the community with mental health promotion and care within the city of Mzuzu and its environs. This is done through out-patient services, Community education and facilitation, community rehabilitation, and vocational training for people recuperating from mental illness and residential care for people with acute mental illness. The service also provides University level training in psychiatric nursing, clinical medicine, counselling and general nursing. In addition to these activities, it also provides services to children with special needs through the children development centre
Under the general supervision of the Senior Finance Officer, the Stores Officer is responsible for management of the Service’s stores functions in accordance with approved policies and procedures
MSCE, Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply, Computer literacy and competence in use of MS Excel and Access, At least 3 yrs work experience in a busy organisation, Strong supervisory skills, Interest in working with mentally challenged persons, Experience in hospital, college or school setup will be an added advantage
