About the Job:
AfID is seeking a Volunteer Accountant. S/he will be placed with partner organization in north Malawi and will perform accounting system assessment and build new accounting system.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform internal audit of the partner organization;
- Understand existing financial procedure and controls;
- Make recommendations for necessary changes;
- Set up a basic accounting system for partner organization;
- Create financial procedure manual for partner organization;
- Assist partner organization with budgeting and donor reporting.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant.
