The array and uncertainty and complexity of legal environments can present challenges in understanding how the law is applied in practice.
Hence we are looking for an invidual:
- Qualified to work as a legal practitioner in Mozambique.
- Strong commercial law background especially in the negotiation and documentation of commercial contracts.
- Strong knowledge of Mozambican law as well as Portuguese legal system;
- Strong understanding of the regulatory system in Mozambique;
- Strong, analytical, drafting and negotiating skills.
- Open and outward looking attitude.
- Strong inter-personal/communication skills.
- Ability to work confidently and stand ground with more senior managers.
- At least 3-4 years post qualification experience as a lawyer.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese.
