Pamodzi Consulting a Limited s a Civil engineering Consulting Company which works in infrastructure development project. The company wishes to recruit a Finance and Administration Officer to be based at its head office in Lilongwe, The successful applicant will be reporting to the Managing Director
Accounting technician Diploma or its equivalent, Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Knowledge of any accounting package will be an added advantage, Minimum of 5 yrs work experience in a busy office, Holders of Accountancy Degrees with 3 yrs experience could also be considered, Self starter, honest and mature with excellent communication and analytical skills. The person should be able to work with minimum supervision
Ensuring adequate physical controls of all company assets, Providing logistical support to project and administrative staff, Oversee the Administrative assistant and drivers, Any other duties as assigned by management, Maintaining an up to date inventory of all company movable assets, Preparation of audit schedules and act as a focal contact person for external audits, Following up of project payment invoices for the company, Filing and safe custody of all invoices, bills and related receipts, Preparation of proposal budgets and annual budgets for the company, Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for all company projects, Conducting monthly bank reconciliation for all company transactions, Submission of monthly tax returns to MRA, Payroll preparation, Processing payments for the company
