Reporting to the Head of Finance and Administration, the Financial Accountant is responsible for assuring the reliability of the company’s financial records, financial reporting and compliance to regulatory obligations
 
Managing the control environment over transaction processing, Maintaining the company’s financial records and preparing financial statements in line with IFRSs, Managing the liquidity of the company and administering the company’s bank records and facilities, Management of Payables and Receivables, Compliance with regulatory financial obligations especially taxation, Management of the payroll system, Management of corporate asset records, Facilitation of the statutory audit of the company, Filing annual returns with the Registrar of Companies
 
Be studying for the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) qualifications at the final level, Possession of Bachelor of Accountancy Degree would be a substantial advantage, Have hands-on knowledge and experience with Sage Pastel Evolution or a credible Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Experience within a busy accounting function would be a notable advantage, At least 3 yrs demonstrable experience in a demanding accounting environment, Possess demonstrable communication and organization skills, Be not more than 35 yrs old
