Reporting to the Technical Manager
Servicing, alibrating and installing all field instruments in the plant e.g. valves, gauges, sensors, Servicing Control equipment e.g. PLC and distributed control systems (DOS’s) cards, stand-alone digital controllers and indicators and operator stations, Carrying out on-the-job training of subordinates on troubleshooting, servicing, calibration and installing of all instruments in the plant, Maintaining high standards by working cleanly and efficiently with due regard to the safety of factory personnel, Performing standby duties when required, Complying with all safety standards
MSCE, Must have successfully completed a recognized indentured apprenticeship program, Must have a Certificate/Diploma in Electrical )Electronics) or Telecommunications, Advanced Craft certificate plus National Trade Test Certificate Grade 1, Have at least 2 yrs experience at technician level, Those with strong computer skills will have an added advantage
