UBALE Program Project Manager – 1 post – Blantyre – Save the Children
 
Position is available for an initial period of 2 yrs, renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
 
Will have as reporting matrix to the Senior Manger Child poverty Humanitarian Affairs, S/he will oversee project implementation, ensuring project targets are met in compliance with USAID/FFP regulation, Supervision of technical coordinators for SAMRT Skills, climate-Smart Agriculture, Agribusiness and MCHN/WASH, based in the project office ad will oversee field based staff within each technical area, S/he shall be responsible for providing leadership of implementing the UBALE project including management of day to day operations of the project including management of day to day operations of the project in addition, S/he will plan and oversee the implementation and monitoring of all projects components in technical, financial control , monitoring and co-ordinations of the project with the CRS Project Management Unit (PMU), The Manager will also be expected to represent save the Children’s Food Security and Humanitarian and Livelihoods Programs and projects in the CRS consortium, other assigned district and national, forums
 
The applicants to this position should have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Social Science, Project Management, Community or Rural development Studies with over 5 yrs practical experience in an appropriate development field, The applicants should also be familiar with implementation of USAID funded projects and donor regulations, management of consortium led project implementation and implementation of USAID Title 11 projects at senior level, S/he should have demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing multi-million dollar, multi-year donor funds
