Reporting to the University Registrar, the post holder shall be responsible for implementation of academic functions
 
Processing student admission and orientation programmes for new students, Processing appointments relating to external examiners, Custody of curricula, syllabuses and course outlines, Participating in curriculum development and review processes, Dealing with student registration, teaching and examination timetables, Processing academic assessment, transcripts and Certificates, Management of student records, Liaising with Coordinators of various student exchange programmes, communicating students’ academic assessments, Producing the University’s Academic Calendar, Servicing of the following Committees:
Senate
Admissions
Graduate Studies
Academic Planning and Academic courses
 
A Degree in Public or Business Administration, Those with a Masters Degree in the appropriate field shall have an added advantage, A minimum of 5 yr experience in a senior administrative position, preferably in a higher education institution, Applicants should also have the following demonstrable attributes – Excellent organisation and coordination skills, Ability to work with different teams in a busy and complex environment, Ability to pay attention to detail, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
