Human Resource Officer – International Planned Parenthood Federation


Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various Human Resource functions, which include recruitment and selection, staff performance appraisal, training and staff development and personnel database management
Coordinate employee recruitment, interviews, employment and orientation, Conduct annual staff appraisal process and support supervisors in drawing Performance Improvement plan and Staff Development Plans, Prepare routine HR reports for supervisor, Coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with FPAM’s Disciplinary code, local Labour legislation and ILO conventions, Keep abreast of any changes in local laws and regulations having an impact on HR policy and incorporate such changes into the personnel manual as may be required, Orient staff on the same, In collaboration with the lead Directors, develop and update job descriptions
Minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences or any related field, At least 4 yrs relevant experience, Knowledge of Malawi and International Labour Laws, Ability to maintain confidentiality, Strong work management skills,: ability to multi task, meet deadlines and strong attention to details, Effective at working with a diverse team
