Logistics and Stores Assistant – Zomba- Save the Children
The position is available for an initial period of 2 yrs renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the Logistics and Stores Assistant will manage the stores ensuring timely replenishment of stock and will generate reports, S/he will make recommendations on stores function and also coordinate receipt and distribution of items, In addition s/he will be involved in updating of SCI asset record and tracking of SCI assets including providing support in photocopying an filing documents in the dept
The applicant should have a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or should be studying towards CIPS with at least 3 yrs experience working in a similar positions with an NGO, S/he should be able to prioritise issues and demonstrable computer skills in spreadsheets, word and databases
