Procurement and Logistics Officer for WASH, school meals and nutrition projects preferably with added responsibilities in ICT
 
Purchasing and procurement related tasks – Management of all procurement and other logistics tasks to ensure goods and services are purchased in time to facilitate project implementation and value for money
 
Prepare procurement plans, tender documents and ensure complete procurement regulations AVR) compliant documentation, Organise a procurement committees and professional tender evaluation documentation, Organise and reconcile deliveries and compile distribution reports and ensure accurate documentation, Manage the procurement of goods and services at the  local market for all projects related activities and general office supplies, Identify preferred suppliers maintain and update a database of suppliers, Check requisitions, invoices, delivery receipts and other relevant documents, sign and submit them for payment including LPO, payment, voucher and any documents related to finance, Make administrative and logistics arrangements of project activities (meetings, workshops etc)
 
Vehicle management related tasks – Security management (office property) related task
 
ICT related duties as nana added advantage – Ensure that all ICT related equipment is working effectively at all times, Prepare security updates and do regular virus check-up
 
requirements an dork attitude to be proven and met by the candidate s- Ethical, high level of integrity, handling resources in the most cost effective and responsible and respectable manner and zero tolerance to corruption of any kind, The position holder should work in a client and team oriented manner and adhere to standards as described in the “Welthungerhilfe” code of conduct ad policies, All above mentioned duties have to be performed using state of the art ICT, hence the candidates has to be proficient in the use of ICT and capable of supervising and advising staff how to use ICT in their daily work,, The candidate has to prove that s/he acquired sound knowledge (several) years working in similar context) on the products and services that will have to procured/purchased in the country programme, both locally and internationally, Clean derivers licence for vehicles and motorbikes , Valid passport, Willingness to travel and stay overnight in various programme locations throughout the country
 
Bachelors Degree from a recognised university in any of the following: business Administration, Finance and Supply Chain Management
 
Candidates should state how much they are expecting as a net salary (excluding MASM, pension and allowances)
