HSSE Officer
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3 yrs work experience in similar environment, Knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point, Knowledge of root cause analysis technique (RCAT)
Must demonstrate ability to work independently under minimum supervision abut should also be a team player, Must have excellent communication and presentations kills, Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Safety officer for PIL operations and offices, Carrying out route survey of all major routes and communicating the same to the stakeholders, Quality control of all products from the ports and into the country, Ensuring that all supplies are cleaned up in order not to harm the environment, Investigating all Fuel tanker incidents/accidents regardless of distance of occurrence and ensuring that route causes are established and putting in place systems to prevent the re-occurrence, Fuel In-transit losses monitoring, controlling and reporting, Ensure that all fuel tanker drivers are properly trained and medically fit, Ensuring that all vehicles have real time monitoring systems (Satellite tracking) and ensuring that systems are in place to reduce driving violations and enhance compliance, Ensuring that the road tanker fleet is roadworthy through inspections and maintenance, Ensuring that PIL transport contractors are aware of PIL Safety standards and that they are being implemented (HSSE Policy), Seatbelt Policy, Alcohol and drugs, night driving, PPE policy), Implementation of safety management systems for the company and aimed at reducing road accidents and fuel spillage
